GUEST SERVICES

There are many different roles that the Welcome Team fills during our weekend worship experiences. This includes greeting people at the doors, handing out worship guides, and staffing our VIP and NextSteps booth in the lobby (where people can come with all sorts of questions and to get all sorts of resources).

The Welcome Team is a great place to start if you’re not sure where you should serve, especially if you can smile or offer a good handshake. It’s even a great way to get connected with other Mosaic goers and meet new folks. The Mosaic Guest Services/Welcome Team would love to have you serve with us.

Ushers

Ushers are responsible to greet people at the doors, take up the church offering and make sure it is put in the proper place.  Ushers also help with the Communion. Ushers have a goal of minimizing distractions during the worship experience and sermon. They are always ready to assist anyone in the congregation who might need help, to aid latecomers in finding a seat, and to inform those in the sanctuary of any urgent matters.
Greeters

The greeter, acting on behalf of the whole Mosaic family, is decisive in creating a climate of hospitality and friendliness among the people gathering to worship. Creating an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. Trying to make people (people you know and don’t know) feel that you are glad they came and that their presence is important for what is about to take place. Greeters bring to their position a strong sense of ministry.
 VIP  Team

VIP Team members are responsible in making sure that every first time guest (or VIP) gets to fill out a Connection Card, have their questions answered if there are any, and make sure that the guest gets Mosaic’s gift for them.
They are also empowered to pray for anyone– whether guest of regular- to pray for them, and share the Gospel with them!
